About the Author
Fred C. Trump III is the grandson of Trump family patriarch Frederick Trump Sr., and the nephew to 45th President Donald Trump. Fred and his wife, Lisa, are passionate supporters of the intellectually and developmentally disabled (IDD), and their son William is a part of this community.
In his forthcoming memoir, All in the Family, Fred breaks his decades-long silence to tell the inside story of the Trumps as it has never been told before, spanning five generations. From learning to swing a golf club with Donald to dealing with a lawsuit that tore at the very heart of the family, this memoir offers a unique first-hand account from Trump’s formative years to the 2024 presidential election.
Unlike the many books that have come before it, Fred speaks from deep inside the family to offer an intimate, complex portrait of the former president, shining a light on the familial forces that have shaped him into the person we see dominating the headlines today. Perhaps most illuminating are the stories Fred shared about his visits to the White House, advocating for people with complex disabilities. Those visits have not always been respected and, under the surface, was a disturbing message no one should receive. This book is an honest portrayal of power, love, money, cruelty, and the unshakable bonds of family.
As we prepare for one of the most important Presidential elections of our time, Fred is ready to address the growing partisan divide and bridge the gap between people’s assumptions and the objective reality of his family. His knowledge of the current political climate, specifically his family’s political impact, gives him an inside perspective of how the Trumps will shape the conservative party for years to come. He shares his truthful stories with straight forward purpose, humor, and a little Queens, NY sarcasm, all under the glaring media spotlight.
Fred received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Lehigh University in 1984. He currently lives with his wife Lisa in Connecticut.
